ARTSTRONG MAGAZINE
ARTSTRONG MAGAZINE was a collaborative editorial design project, that I undertook for my undergraduate graphic design senior thesis. I attended a small university which was formerly called Armstrong State University (now Georgia Southern University) in Savannah, GA, and throughout my undergraduate career, I was frustrated with the lack of representation of artists at my school at time. I believed our university had some great artistic talent that had gone unnoticed by the institution. So I decided to do something about it. This lead me to the idea of Artstrong Magazine. I approached a good friend and fellow designer, William Johnson, and we agreed to tackle this enormous project together. We planned, shared creative responsibility, reached out to our fellow artists, faculty and writers, and collecting content. we were able to complete the project in 6 months.
The magazine launch was extremely successful, but sadly nobody took up the responsibility of continuing it after we graduated, so is the one and only edition of Artstrong Magazine, which I will forever remain extremely proud of.
